Location. Cotton Bay Village is located 11 kilometers from the capital city of Castries on the island of St. Lucia. Pigeon Island National Historic Park is positioned less than two kilometers from the resort.
Hotel Features. Fourteen Sixty One Beach Restaurant hosts weekly Caribbean barbeques and family beach parties. The Mix is a champagne and piano bar that serves drinks and offers entertainment until the wee hours. A free form pool, non motorized water sports, splash pools and access to Cotton Bay Beach provide recreation. Casuarina Spa offers personal training, yoga and meditation classes, and fitness equipment. A beauty salon and spa services are available. Amenities include boutiques and a convenience store. A kids' club offers activities for children ages one to seven, and babysitting service is available for toddlers. Scheduled activities for teens are also available.
Guestrooms. This two story resort offers 74 suites, townhouses and villas with one to four bedroom floor plans. Each unit features fully equipped designer kitchens. All accommodations boast hardwood floors, Hans Groher fittings, and traditional timber louvered windows with sheers. Master bedrooms boast four poster beds. Sitting rooms feature cable television, CD and DVD players, and furnishings that include painted French furniture and modern metalwork. All ground floor suites feature covered dining terraces with teak dining furniture and private sun terraces.
Expert Tip. Located adjacent to the resort is the 18 hole, Par 71 St. Lucia Golf and Country Club. Tee times can be booked through the concierge. A driving range and a golf academy are available.
Construction Notice:
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations to three of its restaurants. There may be noise disturbance. The estimated completion date is March 20, 2008. This date is subject to change. During the renovation period, the hotel's 1461 Restaurant remains open.
